A downloadable game for Windows and Android
Gacha games are fun, but it often seems there are more microtransactions than characters. Holdfast Gate is a hobby project to create an enjoyable gacha game with no IAPs, no ads, no blockchain, no spyware, etc.
Summon over 60 characters, all with custom art!
Smash hundreds of enemies in fast-paced tactical battles to an intense classical soundtrack!
Explore procedurally generated maps in 4 environments (Plains, Sea, Desert, and Tundra)!
Minimal story at the moment (but there's some)!

Install instructions
Windows: run the .exe to start the installation. It will mention GameMaker Studio 2, which is the tool that I used to create the game. Code has been digitally signed with a valid certificate, but Windows may still provide a warning prompt.
Android: run the .apk to start the installation. This has not been digitally signed yet, but uses the same codebase as the Windows version.

Is there any ending in this game?
This game looks very promising! There hasn't been an update in a while, though. Is the project dead?

Ah, alright. Well, I'll at least be keeping my eye on this one, as I'm really excited to play a well-designed gacha! Godspeed either way, my friend.
Very fun, nice mechanics and with incredible potential for a v0, looking forward for the future of this game!
